Lighting up

This evening there was a get together on our "village green" for the switch on of the Christmas tree lights, refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies and the singing of a few carols. It was difficult  to photograph the tree, with the bright lights from the church hall, and people milling around, but I hope it captures the atmosphere!
