Advent Rose

This morning we went for coffee with a former colleague of mine, and her husband. She has been very busy at work over the past two years as she is responsible  for HR in the company. It made me so glad I retired a year ago and have avoided all this stress!   
Then, we drove on to visit my Mother. There wasn't anytime to do any jobs in her garden but  I did notice this late rose, before we set to on indoor tasks  and  cooked supper.
