Bolsover Castle

Day 4 of Peak District holiday

Up early this morning for another appointment in Nottingham. Then decided to go to visit Bolsover Castle. I had no idea what sort of castle it was, but I love looking round castles and had seen signs on the M1 for it, so we drove up there. It ended up being just the sort of place I like to look around - half ruined and half not, so we spent 2 hours exploring it. It helped that it was a lovely sunny morning! We then took the scenic route back through lots of stunning countryside to the cottage where we've just chilled out this afternoon.

Having real problems with the wi-fi in the cottage so haven't been able to keep up with the commenting as much as I'd like. Will keep perservering though!
