and a change of plan... there had been a hope to walk an old trail through the hills but a lack of plausible transport, other plans laid so, of course, late last night the call came that a vehicle had been found for the drive to the start point but too late, rooms booked in the south and a cancellation... still it was about 5km to the train station and then a train west and a bus south to a, i think, random bus stop and then a walk south to tonight's room, then just enough time to chase a sunset down further to a small harbour, choosing that rather than attempting to get down to the southernmost point... weather getting a little chilly now, 2nd vaccine on the 8th so time running out also... the rabbit hole somewhere on arthur's seat back in edinburgh
