Squirrels' Eggs

aka acorns! But not a bad guess by grandson Joe, and quite sensible maybe for a 3 year old.

We've had a fantastic day at Cliveden NT meeting up with daughter#1, SIL and of course grandsons Rory and Joe. It was the first time we have seen them since August. Sadly we won't see them again now until after Christmas, but it was so good to spend the day with them today. There was a 'Winter Wander Trail' which the boys enjoyed, and they also loved the maze.

Cliveden would be a great place for a blipmeet, though I guess it must have been done before. Although a National Trust site the house is now a luxury hotel, pretty expensive I would guess. There was a very enticing but frustrating breakfast/brunch smell as we walked along the terrace there but we opted for Cornish pasties for lunch from the takeaway kiosk.
