Slothful…..

It has rained all day, heavy at times and persistent. A day for rest and a little slothfulness. Bryan’s special sleeping spot is on an antique sofa. We have protected it with cushions and cosy covers. Bryan spent most of the day sleeping in his cosy nook. Myrtle has recovered from the nasty fright of yesterday. We are convinced she came across a marauding weka. Margaret’s partner, Steve arrived from Wellington around lunchtime. He left some horrendous, stormy weather in Wellington. There is flooding, land slips over there. We’ve got off lightly here in Blenheim
