Christmas is Coming….

This morning I flew from Blenheim to Wellington to spend a couple of days with daughter Margaret and granddaughter Emily. Margaret’s partner Steve is in Blenheim keeping Keith company. Emily, a newly licensed very good driver, drove Margaret and me all over the place. To Petone for lunch and later to Queensgate in Lower Hutt. Despite decidedly wintery, very wet weather the place was buzzing with shoppers. It was a relief to finally get to the peace and quiet of Margaret’s home….
