A December swim

It was dry, mild and sunny today with a south wind so what better than a swim with my usual winter swimming friends. It was so nice once we got used to it that we snorkelled all the way round the wall.
Sofia from the beach taverna was here for the weekend to check up on the cats, so though the taverna is closed, she offered us coffee and cake afterwards.
In the evening I went to a small Hanukka lighting celebration given by an Israeli friend who has a house in the village and who is here for a short holiday.
