"Are you actually going to reply?"

I remember when I was first on Twitter and I had to adapt to the weird 'feature' whereby a conversation with someone might take place over several hours with a number of gaps in it.

In fact, back then, when Twitter was a lot more basic (and less irritating functionally), everything that was interesting about it was related to how people used it and not the fairly basic technology itself.

These days, I've grown used to that same feature in text conversations with people, whether they are on iMessage, Telegram, or Signal. The only time I get impatient is when I'm trying to make arrangements, hence this photo sent as a follow up to one of my unresponsive children.

However, the photo is not representative of my very enjoyable day, which consisted of college, where we did 'History of synthesisers' (yay!) and sound design (also yay!). My Extra shows one of the 'soft synths' we use, which is called Diva.

And in the evening we went over to Grub for Amy Gledhill's 'A Lovely Time', along with Dean, and the Minx's festival buddy, Keith, and his partner, Annette. Of the three acts, the last one was excellent: a chap called Jordan Brooks. 

And after that, the five of us went back to the house for drinks and music and chat, and it was very pleasant indeed.
