Diary of an Edinburgher

SORTED!

Robert came round this morning, not to take Archie out, but to help me with my email login and Apple ID problems, which most people staffing the actual ‘Help Desk’ considered to be in the TOO HARD basket.

It took an hour. Robert remained calm. And determined. He just would not give up. Actually, he’s had problems with his Apple ID and knows that it can be quite drastic if you lose access to all your ‘stuff’. However, slowly but surely, we tried different passwords, which I had dated (AND timed) so that when one clue popped up about the date it was changed - Bingo!

I also very much enjoyed having live TV on - I’m a bit of a news junkie in the mornings.

Archie went out for a couple of round-the-blocks - before the storm arrived in the afternoon.

Hazel came over in the evening for a catch up. She’d been down to London for the weekend. We had delicious nibbles, including little fish and chips pottles. And THREE bottles of bubbles. I had organised a Christmas music playlist (NO screechy warbling) but I soon got fed up with that and put on the good ol’ stuff - my ‘Favourites’ playlist collected over the years. This got a wee bit louder as the evening went on. I may need to apologise to the next door neighbours tomorrow… Nobody above us at the moment!
