Wet, wet, wet...

All-day rain - on occasions the High Street resembled a river!

Ten days after Storm Arwen hit, a few local households are still without power. Now Storm Barra approaches, and already thousands of people in Ireland have no electricity. Here the wind has been increasing all day, and I probably wasn't the only one who felt a little nervous when the lights flickered this afternoon! The storm is forecast to reach its full force late this evening, and it's only a 'Yellow' weather warning this time, so fingers crossed!
