Aaaargh!

In 2 weeks' time, the first of our three Christmas guests is due to arrive, and I'm trying to suppress the rising panic! Calm....
This is our bedroom floor. MrM is continuing the work slowly but surely, seemingly oblivious to the shortage of time, or how long it will take to decorate the room and put it back together again once he's finished the woodwork!

In the meantime, I'm attempting to get ahead with Festive preparations. Marzipan on the cake today, and a couple of gifts on order. Made a big pot of ribollita (Tuscan white bean soup) too, most of which has gone in to the freezer for lunches over the next couple of weeks.
