A day of more RE lessons today which is always fun with Year 7s.

‘But if Jesus was put in the manger where the food was, what happened if there was a pig in the stable and the pig tried to eat Jesus?’

‘I know about the incarnation. Jesus died and came back as a squirrel’.

Ok then.

A parcel was awaiting my arrival at the office, with the most beautiful handwriting. It makes me want to learn calligraphy. Surely that’s something I should have done during lockdown.

Trying desperately not to focus on the constant news coming from Westminster today, partly because it’s way too anger inducing but also because it steals the joy of this advent season, when we look forward to celebrating the hope-giving, awe-inspiring Jesus.
