Bittersweet Birthday

We celebrated a birthday on campus today, but our minds were on other news: my study abroad program decided to evacuate us out of Mexico 4 days earlier than we were originally supposed to leave. Finals were moved up to Wednesday and Thursday, and we're leaving on Saturday.

Swine flu isn't actually in our area, but uncertainty about being able to get back into the US and the unavailability of flu medications in our area make it smarter to get us out sooner.
