Today's weather stated off as cold and dry but ended up being even worse than yesterday with yet more driving rain and battering winds.
We decided not to travel so far afield today so just contented ourselves with getting some Christmas essentials in town - well actually two packets of sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets and and some chocolate reindeer!
After all that 'strenuous' shopping we thought we deserved a pint and a pizza at our local, The Chequers in Aylesford. By the time we set off back home the weather had deteriorated even further and we nearly got blown off our feet and my umbrella snapped.
As you might be able to tell today's image is another emergency blip. It was taken on the way home from the pub and was just next to the footpath when I was trying to avoid a large puddle. It is part of a sign that had been ripped from a hoarding that had been battered by the strong winds and a food wrapper. It was only just after 3 pm but if felt like the middle of the night hence the use of flash. Sometimes you just have to work with what's in front of you!
