Bubble Car Window

Today we decided on a micro trip to Rye in East Sussex. Unfortunately, just after we set off Storm Barra was starting to bear its teeth - gale force winds and driving rain.
As we felt we had already committed ourselves to our journey we pressed on hoping that the conditions would abate and by the time we reached the market town of Tenterden they had, so we took it as a good opportunity to stop for coffee and a bit of cake.
We were going to pop into the local Costa but there was a long queue and the rain had started to make its presence felt again so we went to an independent coffee shop just along the road which was actually much quieter and enjoyed a great cappuccino and a delicious slice of cake (much nicer than you would have got in a Costa!).
We also got to see a rather surreal incident where a customer was asked if he would mind moving tables as that particular table had just been sold and someone was here to collect it! Don't think you would see that in a Costa!
After this brief and rather entertaining respite we made the decision to continue our journey on to Rye - where the weather got even worse.
We headed straight to one of the nearest pubs for shelter and treated ourselves to a fish finger sandwich and a pint each.
Today's image was taken just outside the pub and is the window of an antiques shop which has a full sized three wheeled Messerschmitt bubble car sitting in the window.
