fleeced
a day off from decorating as we took fil to visit mil in Rye where she was renting a holiday cottage with their son and his family.
whilst we were there i saw a dog amongst a flock of sheep and began to worry it was another 'Fenton!' moment.
fortunately it was a sheep dog rounding the flock up so the shepherd could feed them - the first time in 4 years as the grass had no nutrients left in it.
the sheep were a self-moulting breed to avoid the cost of shearing and the various diseases that can start when insects lay their grubs in the wool.
