can you smell gas?

i spotted this gas tank after an early morning session at the gym. then it was back, bearing coffees, to enjoy a well earned hot cross bun before continuing to decorate my mil's sitting room.
my wife pointed out the blotching effect on one of the walls, so it was out with the roller to sort the problem. after lunch, we put all the room back together by replacing the furniture/pictures etc.
now to start on the adjoining sewing room! endless fun!
