A mother's love

Sunny today.

I love how protective and caring the ewes are about their lambs. I went to visit some in the "maternity" shed tonight and got stamped at for daring to look at their babies!

I love walking round the estate just now because it's full of signs of spring and new growth.....daffodils.....buds.....lambs.....calves.

I am sitting with a hot water bottle on my knee....think I have overdone it but I only have two weeks to make the most of the stairs.....and I'm having an "I need to lose weight" day!!

I had the simple pleasure of lying on my bed reading this afternoon with the sun shining on the covers.....lovely!
