Having a Beano!

An average meal last night at a restaurant we’ve used a few times before.  It’s in a superb position on the edge of Covent Garden market so frankly, they probably don’t have to worry too much what the food is like as people will always come in, although it’s always been OK before.  W had what she called a ‘Rosa Parks’ moment when her chicken in tarragon sauce had no discernible sauce and when some was brought, it didn’t taste the slightest bit of tarragon. Up with this she did not put, but we didn’t get charged for it.

This morning we went to the ‘Beano’ exhibition at Somerset House.  I was an avid reader as a kid and thoroughly enjoyed it; W never read it (more a ‘Look and Learn’ girl) but also enjoyed it and thought it was really well done.  My main shot and the few extras were all from the exhibition (and those eyes and eyebrows moved!)
