It's in the DNA

Much better night last night, 8 hours' sleep in fact, although not all in one go! So we were suitably refreshed for our trip to the Science Centre today with Auntie Katie and Ryan. Ryan was asleep when we got there so we spent a little while on the first floor then had our picnic lunch. Then we went up to the new Body Works exhibit. As anticipated, Orla loved it. Her favourite bits were learning about DNA and making a cell in a Petri dish with jelly and sweeties. She made this DNA helix out of magnets with minimal help from me. Then Orla took Auntie Katie to the planetarium while I sat in the cafe with Ryan and Conor. Tomorrow she is going to Edinburgh to the Science festival with Gran and Papa. Fun-filled spring holidays!
