Time out

Overcast and cold all day. Up early in hopes of getting a lot accomplished. Hubby had scheduled our semi-annual HVAC check up for early this morning. The tech said both systems looks great. I concentrated on gift wrapping. We took a break this evening to watch basketball. This will be Jamie’s last year coaching basketball; Parker will graduate in June. It warms my heart seeing him coach these kids. Tonight he set up a scrimmage game against a power team from a public school to expose his players to tough competition. Each team’s coach would stop the game if they saw a need to better explain a play. In this shot, Parker is in the middle of the pack listening intently to his Dad. Great experience for all. We have been involved with our grands’ SJS student activities since 1999. It is hard to believe this is our last year. Enjoy every moment, they are fleeting. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe folks. “Most people get excited about games, but I’ve got to be excited about practice, because that’s my classroom.” – Pat Summitt, Basketball
