Across the puddle

Now that Storm Barra has gone we are having bright and sunny mornings with beautiful blue skies - but it is cold of course, as one would expect for this time of year. All the rain last night has caused some large puddles, and when Xena spotted this Vizsla across the puddle her dislike of deep water was soon overcome by her desire to play with another Vizsla - and play they did, they had a grand time running through the puddle and chasing each other, and then he would stop to give her a kiss lick on the muzzle, it was so sweet to watch.

I went into the village to get some flowers for my friend's birthday and Gavin came with me, and then we had a quick lunch in the village - in and out in about 35 minutes so that was good as he had to get back to work. 

Last night we watched The Colour Room which is a movie about the ceramicist Clarice Cliff, it was a wonderful feel good movie and I loved seeing her work, such beautiful ceramics. I then watched the first episode of the new follow up to Sex And The City called And Just Like That - it was awful, I could not finish the episode - what a disappointment, something that worked so well 20 years ago is just awkward and silly in today's world.
