Busy Day

Had to ring the garage first thing to try to get the car in next week.  Sounds like the brakes are binding.  So annoying just before Christmas as it is due a service and MOT on 17 January anyway!  Then "Tittle Tattled" at the Congs teashop.  It was book club after that, but once again I hadn't got around to finishing the book so gave it a miss - I'll get round to finishing one eventually!  Home to change, then met up with the "ladies that travelled" to go to Spoons Cafe in the next village for Christmas lunch.  They have just got a drinks licence, so we could have wine/prosecco too.  Had an excellent white wine and forgot to ask what it was.  Lovely lunch and good company.  Still felt full later on so went for a short wander.  These pretty cottages were covered with lights.  Only had my phone, and forgot to use the night setting, but you can see how bright they were.  Back home I watched Griff's Great New Zealand Adventure on catch up.  Brought back such lovely memories.
