Christmas at Attingham

I’ve spent the day today with my sister and her partner near Shrewsbury. We met at Attingham Park, the NT property, which is beautifully decorated for Christmas. The mansion is full of themed trees, such as feathers, shells, music, crockery , bottles, kitchen implements etc. It was wonderful to look round and see how clever the rooms looked; there were also decorations along the park walks and in the walled gardens.
After that we went back to the house for lunch and a catch-up , a lovely time together.
