Christmas wreath

What started out as a lovely day ended with heavy rain, quit very conducive for blipping. You’ll have to make to with this section of a larger Christmas wreath which now hanged on our front door.

Susan took her mum to the hospital for her regular eye check only to discover Doreen’s sight had deteriorated over the 6 weeks since the last visit. It turns out that the care home have not been diligently managing her diabetes. There are words to be had on Monday.

Chris is on his way back to California as I write. Back to the blue skies and sunshine. How lovely it was to spend a few days with him. All being well he should be back next month.

We’re glad to get home despite the journey. Nice as it is to see relatives we’re all illnessed out. It feels we’ve had 4 days of talking about medical issues, which is only to be expected when Susan and me are the youngest! Then we come back to Doreen! Ho hum!
