Gorgeous spider’s web
Wonderful hard hoar frost overnight as temperatures reached -6.5c when I got up this morning. The whole hedge and fences were covered in these jewelled delights.
As the light faded snow began to fall and it’s still falling, around 2 inches so far. Chris was supposed to fly back to California yesterday, his flight from Manchester to Heathrow was cancelled, his flight today was late so he missed his connection. He’s staying another night and hopefully will get away tomorrow, weather permitting.
It seems that the Santa Specials managed to run despite snow falling towards the end of the day. Glad you enjoyed yesterday steamy Railway blips.
Remembering my father who died 12 years ago today in 2010 and whose funeral took place on one of the coldest and snowiest days in Shropshire for a very long time.
