The New Boardwalk

Supermarket shopping started in the dark but as I came out of the store just before 8 am the sky was colouring up and I knew if I wanted to capture something I was going to have to move fast.  I made it down to the local pool, where a shiny new boardwalk met me.  The only problem is that the recent rain had made it of little use to walk around the pool as it fell about 10 metres short of keeping people's feet dry.

I quickly grabbed some shots and then the colour faded almost as quickly as it had appeared.
