M and C

Prepping for today, our get together lunch chez nous with my old uni mates and partners, was a lot of work even though we only had the main course to prepare. There was cleaning the house, making it look lovely, doing the Christmas tree, doing the garden, last minute shopping.

Never once did I think I'll be glad when this is over. I only ever thought I'll be glad when they all arrive. I only ever thought I don't want them to leave, but they did, at 7pm.

We have the Resident Gardener on the left, and dear friend C, one of the original mates, sharing a moment.
