Country Lane
Not much time today for a blip with a lot to do and a trip up to the other end of the county. I did have time though for a short walk around the village of Sidbury in east Devon, and took this photo coming back along the lane. These two trees form a natural arch and seem to stand guard from either side of the lane. The course of this road and the high banks suggest it's ancient origins. Even now you can imagine horses, carts and farm labourers as they trundle along it's narrow course.
