Spotted a technique in a mag that suggested if you focus on the props or objects of an image it will have more impact - the example was a person writing with a pen - the pen was in sharp focus and the rest out of focus just enough to blur the writer and desk etc - thought Id give it a bash - I think the technique is correct but the subject isn't the best application for this - see what you think
