Snow & shoveling - start of the season!

It has been snowing all day. Some 5cm layer everywhere. My first real shoveling job this winter as hubby has done all this far. Heavy stuff.

After works some shopping, a new USB-C -cable, as the cover of the old one had been broken a bit. And some vegetables, freshly baked two croissants and few carelian pies from the local Lidl -market on the way.

My daughter called me and kept me company as I walked a half an hour route in snowy winter wonderland after shoveling. It was beautiful out there, all branches of trees white, but very warm, only +0c temperature. I had too much clothes on again...

Later a dip into genealogy. Hubby is working in Helsinki overnight and called me just as I had started to sit by the laptop. Anyway a lot to tell him, as I found a new relative, or actually a new relative found me. This one is actually more close relative to my husband, his 5th cousin. Their relatives have lived in Carelia area still in early 1900's, now here in central Finland. My roots in Carelia area from my mother's side are from 1600's. So I sent some information to my husband from this new family member.

I got some new studying of our roots from this new chap - and begun to search the hints! Late into bed....
