London 3

Today started with a volunteering shift which is always very humbling and makes me hugely grateful for the cards I have been dealt in life (or how I played them?). Home for soup and bread and hearing of OH exploits pruning the fruit trees. We need to get a decent ladder as I have seen too many ‘24 hours in A&E’ where middle aged man falls off ladder?!?! Mid afternoon train to the smoke (comfy boots this time) and a walk around looking at the decorations
- London looking very festive. Met up with offspring at Brasserie Zedel for birthday
dinner. Service was a bit slow but the food was good and ambience buzzing. Home by midnight and OH turn to drive (which was just as well as the M20 was shut and we had a long detour). Lovely day again.

dinner.
