My OH retired in March and we joke about his ‘list’ as I often have little jobs for him! I’m careful not to nag but just subtle reminders does the trick! Today’s job was to put me up a shelf in the kitchen so I could get Alexa off the worktop and out of the way. He found a piece of wood in the garage and voila - there was my shelf!

I did a walk and some gardening and a couple of phone calls with No1 who was frustrated that she has a flat battery on the car and the hob has broken too! All part of being a car and house owner!! I can’t fix things long distance but did order her some jump leads from Mr Amazon hopefully arriving tomorrow.
