Nisha

Today turned into a busy day, with various chores and errands taken care of. 

The only thing remotely interesting is that I made soup. Yes, that’s as good as it got. 

On the other hand, the soup turned out a wee bit special - see the Blip (after), Extra (before) and clip (recipe).

If you watch the clip to the end Nisha emphasises the zing the soup gets from the lemon zest, olive oil and chilli flakes. I agree 100%, having tasted it for seasoning before adding the secret ingredients. I had to use “basic” chilli flakes because Aleppo chilli is a bit foo-foo for Fife. No baby mouths around here, of course. 

Yes, I will be sleeping with the window open tonight.
