Paddy & Mick Get Into Trouble

I might have guessed that when I woke to the message;
“Someone you have been in contact with has tested positive for Covid 19, you should seek a PCR Test as soon as practicable”
that the day wasn’t going to get any better. I booked the PCR test just down the road for midday, my fourth of the pandemic, it confirmed immediately that my gag reflex is working. As a double jabbed with booster I am advised that I do not need to self isolate so Paddy & Mick went walking.
The cemetery yesterday may have started to dry out but Boscawen Fields definitely haven’t. Paddy was off freestyling as shown in the top picture, I caught a glimpse of him hurtling along and the he just seemed to nose dive and slide in the mud just for the sheer joy of it. You can see the result in the bottom photo.
We rang ahead and slid in through the back gate where we were received with hoots of laughter from Mrs S and mini Mrs S. Paddy wasn’t laughing as he was escorted to the bath, half an hour later he smelt lovely.
