Swanning around

Slept more soundly….. but awake around 7, way before my alarm was due to go off!

Up, ready & downstairs by 9.30….porridge with raspberries for breakfast. A bright sunny morning, lots of mist around too!

No plans as such today, first port of call supermarket for penne, didn’t have any, so had to be twists, for my chicken & bacon pasta bake for dinner tonight. Got various other things too, dropped them into the car then went for a coffee.

Back home by 11, made a start on clearing the garden by chopping up the branches I’d cut off the trees several weeks ago, as the green bin is emptied tomorrow. It was soon full, got rid of 2/3s or thereabouts.

Next I cooked the chicken & bacon pasta for dinner, to take to daughters later. Then made myself a cuppa soup and a roast beef and mustard roll for my lunch.

Decided to get out for a walk with my camera as it was still nice and quite sunny.
Spent a good couple of hours walking around Pennington Flash, in and out of the bird hides…… was hopeful there might be a nice sun set, there was, as you can see :-)

It was almost dark by 4, too early to go to daughters house so nothing else for it, had to be a second coffee!

We enjoyed the pasta, but all felt really full afterwards, well other than S, who had seconds ;-) We played games as usual E won I and S won 2, much to daughters disgust lol! A few tears tonight, we were looking at photos of hub, which set her off, shes been struggling a bit lately, not sleeping great, got a bit of a cough too! We are all covid free though….. my sis is full of cold, she won’t be joining us for lunch tomorrow :-/

Its just gone 11 going to have an earlyish night lol
