Picnic area off season

One of the reasons that make East Ward such a great allotment is having a common area where you can sit and have coffee/lunch/an evening drink with other allotmenteers or friends.

This "picnic area" (aka "play area" for people with children) gets a lot of use in nice weather but I love it all year round - even in its current, bare and slightly sorry state. 

My neighbour's dog gets let off the lead there when I take him for walks round the allotment. He loves running around in circles until he's ready to get back on the lead to explore other parts of the allotment.
