Not. I did my best with what I had!

Some slow-motion drama today. The government decided to announce new restrictions on travelling to/from the UK from Saturday. They are even limiting who can actually leave France to go to the UK. We may need to brandish both passports alternately to get there and back. This is going to mess up a lot of people's Christmas plans; for example Megan, who hosted us on Sunday, now won't be seeing her daughter and grandchildren because they can't come over from the UK.

In other news, A, who was at our meal on Sunday, told us yesterday that someone in his household had tested positive. She didn't even have any symptoms -- she only got tested because she was about to have surgery. So A got tested yesterday, and his result was positive too. Almost all of us are travelling or having family members to stay! But I did an LFD test just now and it was negative, so phew.

Quick walk around the village to release some of the stress, and this photo is all I have to show for it!
