Uggghhhh

Christmas disco day - they came home with all kinds of chocolates and sweets, including a blue lollypop. Both have felt the after effects of too much sugar and went a bit crazy, the husband and I also felt the side effects of children who have had too much sugar. The youngest thought he looked very funny with his blue mouth, but wasn't very keen on being photographed.

Odd kind of day, our neighbour, Terry, who has been suffering with cancer for a long time passed away, I think the family are grateful he can be at rest, but it is never easy. I had to tell the boys and it is a hard one to get right. The eldest said we should see Pam - his wife, for Christmas as she will be lonely and the youngest said we should make a new Terry from plastic and make sure he has a smile on his face. Beautiful sentiments from both.

Today I'm grateful for:
Thoughtfulness of the boys
Christmas jumper day (the youngest is very impressed with his dinosaur jumper)
Cracking on with a group assignment and getting us ahead (most of my work on it is now done, phew).
