Unusual forest traffic

Luna was mesmerised to see another slurry tank. No doubt hoped her forest tracks would be covered with the muck. In fact the farmer is taking a "short cut" through the forest, normally closed to vehicles, but he has special permission & has to pay for the privilege. Saves him about 10km for each load from his 2 house hamlet Gumpratsried. In 1564 all 20 inhabitants were serfs of the Ottobeuren Abbey.
At the end of the walk, we encountered him again on a road and I flagged him down to explain why I was taking the photos in case he thought I was a potential "complainer". Had a very interesting 10 minute chat. I should really have taken another close up Blip of him & Luna.
