Common Lizard

I've had a day at home catching up on stuff so I thought I'd dig out a photo from my archives. I spotted this common lizard basking in the sunshine in the fields behind my house during the summer of 2011 and I nipped back to get my camera. Luckily it hadn't gone under cover and I managed to 2 or 3 decent shots. I submitted this one to our local paper and it was published that week.
