The elves and the snowflakes.

The mist was with us again this morning but less heavy. It was still quite dark and freezing cold at 8am when I went out to buy our newspaper. We have been forecast a white Christmas Day for this area, but we shall wait and see!! Arthur had started yowling at 7am and he was looking for Paul. He has gone to visit his parents. His Mother is temporarily in a Nursing home and his Dad is in hospital. It is a serious time. I stayed home to look after the house and Arthur. Paul is due home Monday and Maria on Wednesday.
I have blipped some of the snowflake designs I have learned to crochet by following tutorials on YouTube. You can learn so much of interest on there. Bella Cocoa and Happy Berry are two good crochet teachers.
My copy of Anam Cara by John O'Donohue arrived yesterday. It is an enjoyable read, centring on Celtic Spiritual Wisdom. Anam Cara translates as soul friend. The Education we receive in school barely touches on spiritual life and I feel convinced that "when the pupil is ready, the teacher is presented" for you to absorb the relevant spiritual truth appropriate to your stage of soul development. We are all connected as brothers and sisters in God's extended family. The book touches on the deeper significance of belonging.
The sun is slowly getting through the mist.
