New Green Deal

In a surprise turn of events given how little he's been going to jujitsu/judo, CarbBoy won a new belt tonight.

With only two hours of school this morning, his term finished at 10am. Mine drew to a relieved close at about 7pm, though I will probably work half time most of next week. Still in a quandary about whether this Christmas trip is off or not.

The evening trip with CarbBoy was delayed by a car accident (one car, no injuries) blocking the road. Our Maire was directing traffic so I stopped for a quick word with her. Now I'm not up at the school every day I don't see her nearly so often. Important person to keep on side for when I want to build my illegal swimming pool ..
