Amandine's Plot Treize

Planting daffodils

A lot got done today as I had someone to help me. I recently posted an announcement on a French network I'm a member of to see if people were interested in helping on my plot every now and then and so the first event happened this morning.

It's always astonishing to see how much can be achieved with 2 pairs of hands!

We planted 30 new daffodil bulbs (along the row of raspberry plants, around globe artichokes, between asparagus beds, along a flower bed, and by the plot sign), collected leaves for mulch and branches to close off the second natural fence around the asparagus beds, and mulched a flower bed with bark chips.

There was even time for a walk around the nature reserve. A great, and productive, Saturday morning on the plot!
