New allium by the pond

It's been so grey and foggy recently that pleasant memories of gardening in bright sunshine seem a million miles away!

There's no better cure to grey skies and short days than putting more bulbs in the ground.

This is a giant white allium called 'Mount Everest', which I've planted by the pond, among crocuses and daisies.

I really can't wait to see it flower to see how tall/big it will be!
