Barbara and da Lasses

A fine enough day, mostly cloudy.  A calm morning, slight breeze in the afternoon, calm evening. 

Another early shift in the airport.  It should have been a quiet day, three flights in, three flights out.  Due to frozen fog all over the Scottish airports, we've had delays.  The 0820 ABZ flight finally got out at 1445, Glasgow and Edinburgh also delayed slightly.  We also had ten rushed bags that arrived, and some missing, like my cousin Barbara's bag of Christmas presents.  Mam and Elise popped by this evening, we has walkies around Tingwall to see the Christmas lights.  Tonight's plans to see a band cancelled, so meeting the group of friends for drams later.

Cousin Barbara came home from Glasgow today for Christmas, with her lasses.  Her missing bag finally turned up, another passenger accidentally took it.  As aunt Joan's is on my way home, I took the opportunity to deliver it, and stop for a cuppa and catchup.  I saw the lasses when they were up in the summer, but nearly two years since I saw Barbara last, and she had plenty of news.  Barbara with Freya (L) and Ava (R), taken at auntie Joan's, Laxdale Road, Cunningsburgh.
