Misty back roads

We had a quick trip down to Deal to meet the builder to get a quote for the leak damage from the flat upstairs. It is an insurance job but all the same good to know what is going on, time scales etc.
The trip down was uneventful and swift until just outside Dover where there was a long queue of trucks waiting to go across to the Continent, we were able to turn off and go along some quite misty country lanes and no time lost.

We are meeting up with family this morning for hot choc/coffee and exchange of presents before we all go our separate ways this Christmas (a new one for us as we are quite clannish and usually all spend the time together) .
