A Day At A Time.

Fairyland

We spent a magical hour and a half tonight, wandering around the Málaga Botanical Gardens, enjoying the magnificent display of Christmas lights, with our friends Sally and Bill.

They were designed by the same people who do the lights at Kew Gardens, I believe. The first half contained fairly straightforward displays of Christmassy lights, huge baubles, and trees festooned with flashing coloured illuminations.

But the latter stage of our walk took us through a wonderland of enchanted forest, with thunderstorms, falling snow, howling wild animals and laser shows. Complete with appropriate ambient music, rather that Spain's version of Happy Christmas, War Is Over, and with a full moon glimpsed through the high branches of the magnificent trees, this was by far the highlight of the tour.

And I was pleasantly surprised that I managed the 3 plus kilometre walk without much difficulty.

Zooming back to Manilva, we then enjoyed a curry at Mini India. All in all, a lovely evening.
