Steamy dinners

Today we joined G&M on the North Norfolk Railway Christmas dining train. A leisurely steam hauled ride in first class carriages from Sheringham to Holt and back twice, while we were served a three course Christmas lunch and drank Prosecco.  A thoroughly enjoyable experience with a very pleasant lunch and good company.  I think I’m ready to lie down now…..

This was the engine that hauled us.  One of the drivers is down on the track picking up the bag of crackers and party hats that was dropped by the lady leaning out of the cab window as she rather awkwardly climbed up into the cab for a look.
